Well Crap…

Just now realized I have lost all the data for all polls tied to all previous posts. Well, not lost, but recently I moved the website from my personal server to the Feis Dad server and everything copied over, or so I thought. Unfortunately, none of the polls did. Info is still available but I doubt we will ever really need it again.

Long story short, any posts where you have typically found a poll at the bottom, if it is dated before today (1.5.15), you won’t find it, but the header is still there. All other post content is there otherwise. Sorry for any inconvenience. read more

Feminine (aka fitted) TShirt Question – Please Help!

If you have made a recent purchase of what I referred to as the ‘fitted’ tshirt, can you take a second, click this posts title and go to the post itself to answer a poll question regarding the shirt? If you have additional comments regarding your purchase, you can add them below the poll, or contact me via one of the methods here.

Thanks in advance!

New TShirt Idea, Opinions Please!

Here is my new idea for a Feis Mom T. Take a look, and if you don’t mind, take the poll below the image. Its anonymous and I would like to check the viability of setting up the design for tshirt printing.

Tell me what you think, be honest. I won’t hold you to it or stalk you if you give the wrong answer. :)

Thanks in advance!

The Mark of the Beast

For those of you who follow @whatthefeis on Twitter or on Facebook, you may recall my remarks about the dancer at the Indianapolis Feis who was dressed all in black, and whose number was 666. Now, I was raised Catholic, attended Catholic school, was an altar boy, etc… and am a practicing Christian now (not Catholic anymore, nuns scare me). Anyone who actually knows me knows I am not the most religious (at least outwardly) individual, but I have to say, I am surprised they use that number.

The Irish are a religious people, and I would assume using the mark of the beast would offend the Catholic sensitivities of the feiseanna crowd. I know that if TGC was given that number, we would ask for a different one. read more
